Visits
We are located in Somerset by the border with Wiltshire.
There are so many places to visit while you are staying here.
One day you can visit the Longleat Estate & Safari Park and get thrilled to see the wild animals, and the next day visit Castle Combe or Lacock and wander around the cute villages with great history. Or you can make your trip completely relaxing and pampering, book a spa at Bath Spa then enjoy a peaceful walk at Stourhead the next day.

Take a look at our suggestions below to help you plan your retreat.

Discover Gardens and Parks
The best part of living in the counsryside is that you will be surrounded by beautiful landscape and gardens. For walking enthusiasts, here is the best place to stay on your getaways. Even if you are not a member of the National Trust, the spectacular views of Stourhead will be worth a visit.

If you don't mind a bit of climbing, Cheddar Gorge & Cave and Glastonbury Tor are within an hour's drive. The view from the hilltop is fantastic.

A Stroll Through History
This area has a rich history to keep you enthralled

There is of course the mysterious stone circle of Stonehenge that will make you follow the footsteps of people from 5,000 years ago and discover the magic of this incredible monument.

Bath will treat you with the stories of the Romans who, 2000 year ago, chose the place to build their baths at the heart of the valley but also of the Georgian gentry who came in the 18th Century from London to take the waters as well as to enjoy the parties at the Assembly Room. They built the magnificent and classical Palladian town that we can admire today.

Castle Combe is a popular tourist destination. It is a perfectly preserved slice of medieval history and architecture and, for that, has been the location of many movies.
Another favorite for film locations is Lacock and its Abbey. Its picturesque streets and historic cottages will charm you for sure.
